Areas of Practice

Brick

We provide a full range of brickwork services, including new brick installation, tuckpointing, brick replacement, and structural modifications such as installing steel lintels for new windows or doors. Addressing issues early is key to preventing costly water damage, especially in vulnerable areas like windowsills and chimneys. To ensure a flawless finish, we carefully match both the brick and mortar color for seamless, long-lasting repairs.

Waterproofing

Waterproofing is essential to prevent water damage, mold, and health risks. There are two main methods: exterior waterproofing, which requires excavating around the foundation, replacing drainage, applying a membrane, and backfilling; and interior waterproofing, a less invasive option that involves interior repairs, drainage beneath the floor, membrane application, and resealing. The right approach depends on foundation condition, access, and budget.

Concrete

Concrete is known for its exceptional durability and low maintenance, making it ideal for a wide range of applications. We use high-quality concrete reinforced with steel mesh or rebar to ensure lasting strength. Common uses include basement and garage floors, concrete steps, concrete driveways, walkways, and pads for sheds or gazebos. Its resilience makes concrete especially well-suited for high-traffic areas around the home.

Interlock

Interlock is a versatile, aesthetically appealing option for driveways, walkways, and garden features. Available in various sizes and colors like gray, charcoal, crimson, and tan, it can complement any home exterior and any design style imagineable. We use polymeric sand and landscaping cloth for durability, with thicker slabs for vehicles and thinner ones for foot traffic. Our skilled installations balance quality, function, and style.

Stone

Stone masonry offers exceptional durability and timeless aesthetic appeal. We work with a variety of stone types, including Canadian-quarried Credit Valley stone (which has great longevity), as well as cost-effective imported flagstones like Banas and Oakville Stone. A range of ledgerock and veneer stones is available for vertical applications. Common stone masonry projects include flagstone front steps, home facades, walkways, and flagstone patios.

Foundations

We build durable foundations for Toronto homes using concrete block for its strength, versatility, and cost-effectiveness. The process starts with a concrete footing to prevent settling, followed by a foundation wall—typically 10 inches thick for basements and 8 inches for other structures. We also offer underpinning to lower basement ceilings and expand living space, safely handling this complex process with our extensive experience.
